Historic sites
The Chartreuse de Neuville is a monastery located in Neuville-sous-Montreuil founded in 1325 by the Count of Boulogne for the Order of Carthusians.
he Order was dissolved at the French Revolution and the place became a sanatorium and an artists' residence during the Belle Époque.
Gardens and the Abbey of Valloires are situated in the heart of the Picardy countryside on the banks of the Authie river.
Valloires is a rare and astonishing example of 18th century baroque architecture, but it is above the only entire 18th century Cistercian abbey in France.
Nowadays, it welcomes visitors to discover its history and architecture.

The Baie d’Authie is a beautiful preserved area located between Pas de Calais and Somme, attracting visitors all year round.
The most famous inhabitants of the Bay are of course grey seals and common seals that you can see on sandbanks at low tide.
Les 2 Caps is a protected natural site, labelled Grand Site de France, located opposite Great Britain, between Boulogne sur Mer and Calais.
This site is made up of the cliffs of Cap Blanc Nez and Cap Gris-Nez. It is a famous windsports spot.
